Are answers to Quora paid for?

First of all, I should point out that you will not receive any money from Quora for answering questions. Writers are not paid for their answers but are paid by other companies after they are recognized by answering questions on Quora.

As you start answering lots of questions on Quora and building your profile, companies and businesses will take notice of you and your expertise. Then they will start approaching you and offering you money for various projects and partnerships. Quora does not pay you. Quora is used as a medium to draw attention to yourself and companies that are willing to pay you.

But of course, that does not say anything about how to make money on Quora. Yes, Quora can be used to drive traffic to another business you run, but how exactly can we use Quora to do that?
