How to prepare for clat
1. Try as many tests as possible
Although opinions about tests often differ, we believe it's important to take as many tests as possible. Create an Excel spreadsheet and track your progress over the last few tests. Find out in which areas you've weaknesses. Analyse your results and work on your weaknesses.
2. Work on your weakness
Suppose you've found that you aren't doing well in Logical Reasoning. Get all the Logical Reasoning tasks from the last few years and try them. Work on at least 30-40 questions a day and see if your score improves.
With only two months left, it can be stressful if you don't see immediate progress, but be patient with yourself. Categorise the reasoning questions into different types: Assumptions, Logical Fallacies, Paradoxes, etc.
Figure out which of these types you're having trouble with and work on it. It's not too late.
3. Revise
It's very important that you revise your notes, especially for GK. It may be that your exams make you feel like you're on track and don't need to be revised. But take another look at your notes on important concepts. You've nothing to lose.
Revise your GK schedules and put yourself to the test. Go over the concepts of vicarious liability and the postal rules!
4. Don't compare
It's easy to be put off by the test scores of others. Maybe your best friend scored a 100+ and you see yourself stuck at an 80+ - that's okay. Remember that your scores don't really count until the real exam, so keep practicing on your weak areas.
5. Put in the work and invest the time.
Remember that this is the last stage of your preparation. Don't lose sight of the goal now. Set aside 6to 8 hours a day and work on several topics. Revise, practise, analyse. Prioritise CLAT. Don't slack off now, you're almost at the finish line.
Stay the course! We at CLATalogue are keeping our fingers crossed for you!
