1. atal tunnel, rohtang pass 


This horseshoe-shaped tunnel is 9.02 kilometers long, making it the longest passable tunnel in the world. Located at over 10,000 feet above sea level, the tunnel is named after former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. 


2nd Pamban Bridge, Tamil Nadu 


This bridge is the second longest sea bridge in the country after the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in Mumbai and connects the island to the mainland. 


3. Bandra-Worli Sea Link, Mumbai 


As the country's first eight-lane cable-stayed highway across the open sea, it took a decade for this bridge to be completed and fully operational. The height of this stunning sea link is equivalent to a 43-story building, making it 63 times taller than the Qutub Minar in Delhi. 


4th Statue of Unity, Gujarat


This tallest statue in the world can be seen within a 7 km radius. There is a museum, 3-star accommodation, food court and memorial garden on the site.


5. Mahatma Gandhi Setu, Bihar


After the Bhupen Hazarika Setu in Assam, it is the second longest river bridge in the country. The construction of this magnificent bridge took over a decade. The bridge, named after the father of the nation, connects Patna in the south with Hajipur in the north. 


6th Dhola Sadiya Bridge, Assam 


The 9.15-kilometer bridge is the nation's longest river bridge over water, connecting the northeastern states of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. 


7th Pir Panjal Railway Tunnel, Jammu and Kashmir 


With a length of 11.2 kilometers, this is the second longest railroad tunnel in the continent. It is the longest tunnel in the country and connects the Bichelri Valley from Banihal in Jammu to Qazikund in Kashmir. 


8th Panval Nadi Viaduct, Ratnagiri 


The viaduct is the third tallest on the continent and was built using SLIPS technology, which was first used in the country. The 24 meter long superstructure is unique. 


9th Signature Bridge, New Delhi 


The first asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge in the country, it connects Wazirabad with East Delhi. It is the tallest structure in the city and almost twice as high as the Qutub Minar. 


10 Matrimandir, Tamil Nadu 


Surrounded by twelve golden disks that reflect sunlight, this marvel took 37 years to build. This structure contains the largest optically perfect glass globe in the world. This place is also not associated with any particular religion.
