Short Note On Quora Ads -Digital Marketing Hindi.
Quora is the great place to run ads as it has a large audience to know more I suggest you to read the full article What is Quora Ads in Hindi & How can we do it?
Quora is such a bizarre platform. It was originally created to take the same place as Yahoo Answers, only with more class, but the site was run on investment capital for years with no source of monetization to be found. It was heavily adopted by marketers and the like, anyone who could benefit from being known as a thought leader.
Around mid-2017, an advertising platform was finally introduced, as most of us expected. With a new revenue stream, I would guess that the company's valuation skyrocketed. In 2014 or so, the site was valued at about 900 million, while now it's about 1.8 billion.
Not everyone thinks Quora is here to stay, however. Some lump the Q&A site in with such big names as Orkut, Google+, or Myspace.
Personally, from a marketing standpoint, I do not care if the site lasts forever or goes under next year. As long as I can get some benefit from it in the here and now, it's worth it to me. Here comes the ad program.
By running ads on Quora, you can drive traffic to your landing pages and get value from the Q&A site beyond what you get from answering questions organically. The question is, how does it work, how much does it cost, and is it worth the effort?
How to use Quora ads
How does the whole Quora ads process work? To begin with, you'll need a Quora account. If you've been following some of my previous posts, you've probably already created an account for organic use, and you can easily use that. For Quora ads, you should use an account with your company information, not a sock puppet that you use to create responses without appearing biased.
Before you even think about running ads, you need to lay the groundwork for tracking their results. As you're used to with Facebook ads, you'll need to install a tracking code on your website to do this. The Quora pixel is Quora's own version of the tracking pixel, whose roots go back to email tracking.
In your Quora Ads dashboard, one of the top navigation links is the Quora Pixel. Click on it and set up the pixel by clicking on the gray button on the far right. Fill in the requested information and copy the code you get. Paste this code into the header of your website, just like you'd with the Facebook Pixel or the Google Analytics tracking code. It's quite simple, but if you're not sure what you're doing, have your developer do it for you.
Quora has a similar ad structure to Facebook: You've ad campaigns, ad sets, and ads. Think of it like ice cream in a refrigerator, old style, not like those fancy automatic ice cream machines kids can play with these days. Your ad campaign is your freezer. Each ad set is an ice tray, and each ice cube is an individual ad. The ads are in the sets, all part of one campaign. The only place this metaphor fails is when you run multiple campaigns; not many people have multiple freezers these days.
When you click on a campaign to create it, you're taken to a standard ad creation window, but it doesn't have extensive documentation. You've two targeting options: Conversions or App Installs. Choose the most relevant goal, which will be conversions 9 times out of 10. Choose a maximum daily budget according to your willingness to spend money, and set a maximum lifetime budget if you want to make sure your campaign doesn't overspend. Keep in mind that your daily budget is a minimum of $5. Finally, specify whether you want the ads to start immediately or begin on a specific date - and end on a specific date if you wish.
