“There are 360 degrees, so why stick to one?”-A360 architects

What is an architecture?

"Architecture is really about well-being. I think people want to feel comfortable in a space... On the one hand, it's about protection, but it's also about pleasure."
"There are 360 degrees, why limit yourself to one?"
- Zaha Hadid

"The mother art is architecture. Without an architecture of our own, we have no soul of our own civilization." - Frank Lloyd Wright

"Architecture is the learned, correct, and magnificent play of forms joined together in light." - Le Corbusier

The above quotes illustrate the importance of architecture. It is an art, a form, a passion, a creation, a dedication that encompasses all 360-degree dimensions of the art of building.
Architecture is the planning, design and construction of buildings. It can be considered as part of science, since construction involves technical concepts. At the same time, it can also be considered art, as it has a lot to do with design and creativity. For this very reason there is no proper definition or category of architecture, it is simply a fascinating field that makes the best use of science and art.
Civilized man has always practiced architecture since he discovered the need for an enclosed space to live and be safe. Architectural works have been improving with the passage of time. While there are wonderful structures created in modern times with the help of engineering and modern technology, there are also the amazingly incredible ancient structures that fill us with awe for the simple reason that advanced technology did not exist back then.

Some of the best architectural marvels on earth.

The Colosseum in Rome, Italy.
Stonehenge, Salisbury, England
Great Pyramid of Giza, Egypt.
National Stadium of Beijing, China.
Sydney Opera House, Australia.
Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Haohan Qiao Bridge, China.
Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.

Great Pyramid of Giza, Egypt

One of the older 7 wonders of the world, the resting place of Pharaoh Cheops, the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt is a marvelous work of architecture. The exact construction of the pyramid has not been deciphered to this day. It is the only Egyptian pyramid that has both ascending and descending passages. It is estimated that about 2.3 billion stone blocks were used to build the pyramid. The wonder lies in the transportation of these stones and in the construction that must have been carried out to build a robust, symmetrical structure is indeed a sign of brilliance.

Beijing National Stadium, China

The Beijing National Stadium, popularly known as the "Bird's Nest," was originally built for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. It was the main attraction for Olympic spectators even before it was inaugurated on June 28, 2008. As the largest steel structure in the world with its twisting steel structures, it is particularly impressive. The circular shape of the stadium is meant to represent the sky, inspired by Chinese Crazed-style pottery.

Sydney Opera House, Australia

Australia is famous for two things at once: kangaroos  and the Opera House. Australia's most remarkable structure is undoubtedly a marvel of architectural history, as it took 16 years for the Jorn Utzon-designed Opera House to come to life. Due to its magnificent architectural design and structure, the Sydney Opera House was recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2007. The Opera House is the most popular performing arts center with multiple venues.

Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

At a height of 452 meters, the Petronas Towers are the tallest twin towers in the world. The towers also feature a 58.4-meter bridge between the two towers. The glass panels of the twin towers have special properties such as light filtering and sound insulation. The twin towers are a symbol of Malaysia's cultural and economic growth.

Haohan Qiao Bridge, China

Known as the "Brave Man's Bridge," the Haohan Qiao Bridge is definitely not for the faint of heart. Located in Shiniuzhai National Geological Park in China, the Brave Man's Bridge is a 984-foot-long and 590-foot-high suspension bridge made of glass. This means that when you step onto the bridge at a lofty height, you can clearly see how high you are going. Interesting, is not it? Not at all! It's very intimidating. The architects wanted it to give you goosebumps when you visit the park. The glass suspensions are supported by a steel frame, and the glass used is also built strong and dense, so the ride on the bridge is exciting but safe, so you can tell about it later.

Palm Jumeirah, Dubai
With the help of modern technological tools, man has achieved a great feat in the history of architecture when he created land in the sea. Palm Jumeirah, popularly known as Palm Island, is a stunning island
